Monday, November 3rd
Yeah, yeah, I know, it's been too long.
Last day to vote for president of the United States is tomorrow, so if you haven't, you should. Seriously.
Lately, my car has had troubles. Well, it's always been somewhat troubled, but twice in the last month or so it wouldn't start. Had to jump-start it and all that fun. So we took it to O'Reilly's and had them test the battery, and the battery was fine, so we had them test the alternator, and the alternator was going bad, so all Sunday I spent replacing that with my dad, and that was very ... informative. I'm somewhat lost when it comes to cars... but now the alternator is fixed, and it seems to run better, so yey!
I really had been hoping the trees would turn pretty colors, but mostly the leaves went brown and fell and now they're all over the yard. :( Oh well.

Tuesday, November 24th So... long time no see. Likely, over the course of December, I will continue to update sporadically. I know, you're surprised.
But... I have 2 monitors. "Well, yes", you say, "you've had 2 monitors for some time now...". Yes... under WinXP. And I'm not a huge fan of Windows, even XP - though I like it better than the others. "So why are you excited," you ask?
Because... because it's under Debian. It took me WEEKS to figure out the correct configuration. Okay, that's an exaggeration. It took me a week or so to find what I needed to be editing, and then another week of doing it wrong, and this morning of actually making it right. Screwing up is tedious.
And so... I'm happy. So happy.
